Polytech launches Poly-Traffic for highway drainage

Surface drainage specialist, Polytech, has expanded its highway range, with the addition of Poly-Traffic, a monolithic concrete linear channel that increases the efficiency of on-site installation and offers superior drainage performance.
Manufactured from polymer concrete, Poly-Traffic is extremely efficient at collection and evacuation, because the material is non-porous and will not absorb water. The speed of drainage is enhanced further by its smooth internal surface, designed to facilitate the exit of water.
Classified as suitable for loads A15kn to F900kn, Poly-Traffic is approved for use in a range of highway applications, including roadsides, housing estates and town centres. Total resistance to frost and corrosive substances makes it particularly suited to areas such as cross carriageway and motorways, where the use of road salts is most prevalent.
Poly-Traffic is an all round cost effective channel selection, from system purchase and installation through to ongoing maintenance. A one-piece construction simplifies the installation process, as there are fewer components to manage on-site, while its durability reduces the frequency with which channel replacement is required over time.

The Poly-Traffic range offers a choice of two capacities. Poly-Traffic 100 is available with an internal width of 100mm and 250mm depth.
To manage a greater water flow, Poly-Traffic 200 is designed with an internal width of 200mm and a depth of 504mm. All Poly-Traffic products are supplied at a standard length of 1000mm.
