The Poly-Supreme (PS) channel is available in a number of sizes, including PS100, PS150, PS300 and PS400. The Poly-Supreme range is fitted with a unique pro-lock boltless grating, enabling access along the drainage run.
As polymer concrete is non-porous, it will not absorb moisture therefore providing efficient collection and evacuation of fluids and any contamination. The PS range has exceptionally smooth internal surfaces giving excellent hydraulic performance.
Polymer concrete is totally resistant to frost and road salts and has a substantially greater chemical resistance than traditional concrete products. It also has a considerably lighter construction, providing easier handling and installation.
The PS range has a Pro-lock boltless locking system. The gratings are simply kicked into place and levered out at the joint. It takes away any responsibility for ensuring bolts are re-installed after work has been done. The gratings are guaranteed to be rattle-free and secure and cannot be displaced by vehicular forces.
During installation the system is completely encased in concrete, therefore the joints are generally left open. If a complete watertight system is essential, to prevent ground contamination for instance, then the joints can be simply sealed with a suitable mastic.
